WRINKLES & FINE LINES REDUCTION
While wrinkles and fine lines are a normal part of aging, many individuals aim to reduce or get rid of them as it significantly makes them look tired and old. High exposure to the sun and improper skin care can cause fine lines to start appearing as early as in your 20s. Once these fine lines become fixed wrinkles, they can barely be helped.
TREATMENT PROCESS AND BENEFITS
Wrinkles and fine lines are caused by repeated movements and muscle contractions. During the procedure, injectibles are being injected into targeted areas of the face to temporarily relax the muscles and lighten the appearances of wrinkles and fine lines. Numbing cream can be applied prior to the treatment to maximise comfort.
Generally, injectibles can help with the following concerns:
However, a proper consultation will determine if this treatment will be most suitable for your concern.

How long will a treatment session last?
The actual injection process doesn’t take longer than 10 minutes. The length of treatment generally varies depending on the needs and the case of each patient.
Is it painful?
The procedure only causes minimal discomfort and no anesthesia is required. If the patient is sensitive to pain or any discomfort, the area can be numbed using a cold compress or anaesthetic cream.
What results can I expect from an injectibles treatment?
The procedure should reduce lines and wrinkles in your face, resulting a youthful-looking appearance.
How long will the effects last?
The treatment administered on the face lasts for about 3-6 months. The outcome of the treatment which targets excessive sweating usually lasts 12 months.
The results may take 4-5 days before any change becomes more apparent. In some cases, it could take up to two weeks for the full results to show. Deep wrinkles can be observed to improve slightly after treatment, but their appearance will continue to improve over time.
How many sessions will I need?
A single session can already give you the desired results. However, you may have to come back for touch-up treatments every 6 months if you wish to maintain the results.
What is the recovery time?
You should be able to resume your usual activities immediately after treatment. There may be some redness or slight bruising afterwards, but it will disappear quickly.
When should I start getting my injectibles treatment?
For fine lines and wrinkles, it is best to start early because this gives the benefit of delaying wrinkle formation in the future. It is often recommended to start preventive injectibles in your late twenties or early thirties. If you do it for jaw reduction, you get faster and prolonged results the sooner you start.
Will sagging skin worsen after the effects wear off?
No, your face will not sag or worsen after the effects wear off. As a matter of fact, injectibles can help delay wrinkle formation and aging. When used accurately, it reduces the contraction of the facial muscles. Repeated contractions are the culprit behind your permanent wrinkles and lines. But with injectibles, the contractions are reduced and relaxed which results in the delayed formation of facial lines. Therefore, this treatment is a good preventive measure, rather than a cure.
What are the possible side effects?
- Mild numbness or tingling in the injection area
- Minor swelling or bruising around the injection area
- An allergic reaction
- Flu-like symptoms
- Nausea (Temporary)
- Headache (Temporary)
- No improvement after undergoing treatment
- Drooping eyebrow or eyelid (Temporary)
Are there any special instructions I should be aware of after treatment?
Doctors recommend that patients avoid lying down at least four hours after treatment to prevent any possible migration of substance to other areas of the face. It is also suggested to avoid vigorous movements, particularly those that involve straining or bending over at least 24 hours after the procedure. Rubbing or facial massages should also be avoided for at least 48 hours after injections.
