What is the BLADELESS Protocol?

BLADELESS is an innovative treatment protocol developed at Veritas to restore a youthful look when used in a facelift, and to alleviate tired and old-looking eyes when used in eye bag removal.

BLADELESS facelift uses a selection of multiple up to 10 lasers and machines to firm lax skin, even out wrinkles, and reposition aging facial tissues. As we age, we lose volume in underlying facial support structures that cause conditions such as sagging, double chin & turkey neck.

A notch beyond the Fotona 4D Facelift, BLADELESS can be thought of as an 8D facelift as it introduces additional options in lasers and machines depending on the patient’s individual requirements. BLADELESS eye bag removal does not require any surgery, but uses a large selection of lasers and machines to remove not just eye bags, but also improve the appearance of eye wrinkles and sagging eyelid skin. How Does It Work?

The BLADELESS protocol selects from over 10 different lasers and machines and to targeting the 3 main layers of skin (epidermis, dermis, subcutaneous fat), together with its supporting structures including the Superficial Muscular Aponeurotic System (SMAS) and deeper facial ligaments.

For BLADELESS eye bag removal, this treatment effectively tightens a lax periorbital septum which gives rise to eyebags, and treats wrinkles, sagging and lid drooping. It remodels existing collagen and brings about new collagen production at different tissue layers around the eye region by directly targeting from both the inside of the eyelid (mucosal) and outside (skin), strengthening deeper supporting ligaments and structures beneath the skin at the same time.

A combination of lasers and radiofrequency waves induces thermal heating at specific layers in a controlled manner, while minimising damage at the surface. This initiates the production of new collagen and remodelling of existing collagen at different depths and delivers anti-aging results unlike any other treatment. The treatment combination depends on your individual skin condition and type, which will be tailored by your doctor.

How many sessions do I need?

Results can be seen from the first session in general, but because collagen stimulation takes time, improvement is noticed in the following weeks. As each individual’s condition is unique with a tailored treatment combination, the number of sessions depends on its severity and how your skin responds. With the passing of time and further ageing, further volume loss may occur that causes sagging and eyebags, so maintenance sessions will help make sure your results get better and more lasting.

Is there any downtime for BLADELESS?

Numbing cream is applied, and therefore, Bladeless Eyebag Removal is very tolerable, with just a heating sensation experienced during the treatment.

How do I care for my skin after BLADELESS?

It is important to protect the treated skin after a BLADELESS session. Depending on your condition or skin type, we may recommend that you use different proprietary post-care skincare in addition for optimal results.

How much does BLADELESS treatment cost?

The total cost may vary for each patient because this will depend on the severity of each patient’s condition and the area affected.
