Tapping on his previous experience as a surgeon and his accreditation with the RCS, Dr Chua’s expertise lies in using safe and effective techniques for invasive procedures such as minimally invasive face lifting, botulinum toxin and filler injections. He advocates that the art of aesthetics has to be applied on a scientific basis with solid clinical evidence, which he applies to his skin treatments as well as other aesthetic enhancements. He firmly believes that the concept of beauty is a complex one that requires meticulous detail, artistry and subtlety, and a good appreciation of these factors enable him to create natural looking, personalised and lasting results for his patients.
Dr Chua’s passion for aesthetic medicine is a merger of his appreciation of the fine arts, together with his deep interest to heal and help others with medicine. He was a musician in his younger days and now plays the guitar, piano and saxophone for leisure. Besides music, he is an amateur photographer with interest in potrait and landscape photography. Dr Chua also volunteers regularly as a doctor to migrant workers to give back to the community.
